Hello Im Anne post op transwoman, transexual, woman..whatever..Im 59 years old, 5"-6", 170 pounds..average build size 10. Anyway the wife left me after my surgery then the kids moved out so now I have the cats..Id love to date someone that was normal and sincere..I say normal because the last guy I dated confessed he liked doing dogs. That made me feel warm and fuzzy inside..Then theres my fear of coming across a guy that psycho, homophobic and feels God has called him to rid the world of the damnation..Scary..So I tend not to day guys anymore..Thought about lesbians..but it turns out most of them want a 'Genetic woman' La dee da..must be the juices.is all I can figure..not to be crass..Just miffed about it thats all.. Im exactly the same as any woman that cant bear children.. Durn chromosomes..Then there are Male to Females and Female to Males.. Try finding the latter..Ive looked under most all of the rocks. Female to Male is ok accept I really dont want to end up helping someone have their surgery because they are out of work..then find out a year or so after the surgery that "Oh I dont love you any more". So if any of you know of a normal, hard working or retired, loving, kind, compassionate Male or female out there.pleaseeeee give them my email..Imannemarie@yahoo. Friends is a good start..but I dont have a life time to find my perfect soulmate and frankly I am really beginning to believe Ill spend the rest of my life alone..Oh well as Annie Hall would say..La De DA. La De Da...Sincerely Anne

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Mon, January 5, 2009 - 10:21 PMhoney, you need to fill in your profile so we know things like where you live and what you like. Pictures are nice but any nice graphic will do so you have an image for your profile.
Hugs,
Rig Daddy (who in DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL) (doesn't do dogs... well only the human kind, LOL. Is an ethical slut. Only plays with people who say YES)

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Sun, January 11, 2009 - 8:28 AMAnne there are still men that arent psychos, men that will love you for YOU, men that arent into screwing animals, ( im sorry, but that one really cracked me up, its sad but i couldnt help but laugh, kudos on dealing with it so well, i might have beaten him senseless, hey testosterone, whattya gonna do?)
The point is love , dont give up hope, youll probably sift through more than your share of garbage to find the pearl but its out there. keep your chin up girl. -

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Sun, January 11, 2009 - 11:23 AMhello Wand.. Thankyou for the wonderful reply..Yes yes yes I know there are guys out there perfect for me but heres my fear..Im transgendered and most guy are grossly homophobic. and Im grossly honest..This means that I refuse to date someone unless they know upfront that I had a sex change..Why? Because what if this gentleman falls in love with me and wants to get serious in the relationship.. If I wait that long to tell him he could become very very very angry and that could lead to skull fractures or worse. I wish I was so perfectly female that it was impossible to tell but my hands are to large, shoulders too broad, Im still getting rid of my beard and there are two nice three inch scars at my vagina.. (quite visible)..So what do I do? If I were just to meet someone like a Fred and say, Hello Fred nice to meet you..oh I used to be a guy and had a sex change..Well I kinda think hes going to 1) Turn and walk away..2) Politely say oh wow..thats interesting..and disappear later..or 3) Punch my lights out or worse..So I thought Id try sites like this. Letting everyone know who they are talking ot upfront..If interested then onward from there. But then you see enters my paranoid phobia..There are guys out there that hunt transsexual to rid the world of the blight so sayest the Lord.. I feel like my life is screwed as far as finding Mr. Right. unless like Ive said I settle for an ugly troll , Jabba the hut or lover of animals.. smiles..living alone for the rest of my short life doesnt appeal to me at all..Thanks for listening..Hugs Anne Marie -

Anne, Anne, Anne. What are we going to do with you? Three or four alternatives? Is that all we get? And the most negative responses we could make? What do you take us all for?
I think, given the present data available, you might be surprised. We are not all ogres. In fact few of us are. The fact is that you've allowed your imagination to run your life up to now. This is not good. How many of those things have happened to you? One? Perhaps two? I think that you've just seen the rest in your minds eye if it has been one or two. So come on!! Give us a try!! We are really nice guys and if things dont work out try again and have a good time doing it! (What about a gender fluid guy like me? I don't bite...very hard.)

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Sun, January 11, 2009 - 3:41 PMYeah .. what rig daddy said ..
And, ... yes, there are women out there who love us for who we are .. it does take some time and patience since we are sort of a niche lifeform ..
I don't feel, from my experiences, that lez women are all that uniform in preferring GG's ... so hang in there and realize it takes time ..
I'm, post-op myself since 1976 ...
I was with a wonderful gg lez woman for over six years, and I ended the relationship cuz of hassles with her other family members who were intolerant of me ..however, she wasn't ...
Since then I've been partnered with a wonderful woman for the past 22 years and we even were legally married this past October since we live in california ..
Where are you located ???

Wed, January 14, 2009 - 4:43 PMSweet Anne,
Hon', even if you add a picture of something else. Having something is better than nothing.
Look at Kim's profile. He's one of my friends. Not a picture but something.

Don't slip and slide my dear, the wheel turns for us all and for all in good time the wheel brings our needs.
Hugs my dear,

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Wed, January 14, 2009 - 5:49 PMAnd what's wrong with being a plain looking woman of 59 years? There is beauty in everyone. Unfortunately, sometimes we are conditioned by the commercial culture to not see it. A photo of yourself would tell us not about some plain woman, or some 'attractive male,' anyway, but about... Anne. Humans tend to be very visually oriented. The down side can of course be 'lookism'; but the up side is it helps us to relate to and empathisize with one another.
But also as Rig Daddy suggested, it need not also be a literal picture of yourself. It can alternatively represent what you want to reveal to others about yourself, from within.

Re: On Dating Transwomen or something closely related to that idea
Thu, January 15, 2009 - 7:03 PMNot yet, anyway. Open your profile, and where it says on the left "0 photos in the album" click there to open your photo album. Lower on that page it says "upload a photo." Below that, fill in the spaces. To select which photo to upload click on the "choose" button to find the right file on your hard drive. When you are done, click on the "upload photo" button at the bottom.
You will want to select "main photo" for the one you want to show here, instead of the question mark.
