I have been reading up on the Caster Semenya track star story. She is a gold medal winner who, it seems, has been gender tested and found to have no ovaries and higher testosterone levels. They are trying to figure out if she can keep her medal and still run.
I also remember a friend of mine on a casual girl's softball team who was annoyed because there was a transgender on another team that was perfroming far better than anyone else. She questioned if it was 'fair'.
So, for those of you who love sports, have you run across difficulties?
