Re: germany?
Thu, November 27, 2008 - 6:59 AMI love Heidelberg and Berlin, but have been told by friends that southern Germany is almost as conservative as the southern US. Even with that said, I live in Durham, NC, a town where there are many trans-people and they seem to be happy in our liberal little pocket in the south.

Re: germany?
Sat, April 25, 2009 - 7:46 PMI'm from Arizona. Moved to Ohio in 1995.
My grandma speaks both German and Russian. Her mom is from Russia and moved to Germany when my grandma was born. So most of the German I know is proper, when I met Tamara, she kind of filled me in with a lot of the slang.
I grew up speaking Spanish. but when I moved to Ohio, I forgot how to speak it. Still can't speak it to this day. Only Russian and German :)
Sorry my reply is 3 months late!!!! With all the problems Tribe has been having lately, I rarely log on anymore.
Tchuss!
