Hermaphroditic Bacchus
I don't remember in which centruy this was done, and the sculptor is unknown, but it is striking. It is in the hallway leading to the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. Just thought some of you would appreciate the photo...

I'm not sure I have seen that statue before.Seems odd that wouldnt have seen it anywhere before,it is a fine art marble sculpture after all.
Maybe people dont give it much attention in books and other art media.
